One of my main reasons to choose butterfly tattoos is because it portrays femininity. I always check at local library for resources on butterflies, especially so that i can get a good look at the rainbow of colors, hues, intensities and patterns. No two butterflies are exactly alike so i will have to study them closely in books, magazines, encyclopedias and other resource materials. When I am thinking have a few favorites, make color copies of them so that i will have something to take to the tattoo artist. This commitment makes my choice of butterfly tattoo designs all the more important.
